Writing Your Book is Just the Beginning

You’ve poured your heart into writing, but getting your manuscript ready for the world requires more.

Whether you plan to traditionally publish or self-publish, the next steps—editing, polishing, and refining—are crucial to your book’s success. That’s where we come in. At Authors’ HQ, we provide expert editing and personalized guidance to help turn your vision into a professionally polished manuscript. With trusted editors and years of experience, we’ll make sure your book is ready to shine.

I’ve always been a voracious reader. In sixth grade, I found a book cart big enough to turn toward the wall, climb inside, and read instead of doing math. Eventually, I got caught, my parents were called, and I was grounded. Worth it! I spent that week in my room devouring books.

The first time I built a website for an author, I was hooked. After years of marketing for various businesses, it was refreshing to work with someone so smart and creative—someone with a vision beyond just increasing profits. Someone with a story to tell, a message to share—an artist.

But I quickly realized that authors can be easy targets for exploitation. There are plenty of people out there ready to take advantage. Nefarious characters lurk in every corner of the web, preying on authors’ dreams.

You know what I’m talking about, right?

If not, just post in any author group on Facebook that you’re looking for an editor, and watch your inbox fill up with scammers. You’ll get messages from supposed book marketers, all guaranteeing they can make you a bestseller.

Yeah, right!

Marc Gellman, my first author client, became more than just a client—he became a friend. Together, we figured out how to perfect his book and marketing strategy so it would reach its audience. That book became an Amazon bestseller, no small feat for an unknown memoirist.

"I so much like and enjoy working with Marc. In today’s times, I often find that working with professionals means working with an associate of a large firm. It’s been a breath of fresh air for me to work directly with the principal; a capable professional, who I can get to know and who wants to get to know me"

Since then, I’ve worked with many authors across many genres, and it’s been some of the most rewarding work of my life. That’s why I started Authors’ HQ—to provide honest, experienced guidance that authors can trust.
